Nick Penniman IV, retired publisher of the St. Louis Dispatch will be our featured speaker in October. You may know Linda his wife and perhaps Nick for his involvement with the conservancy.

He and others have created a new organization called News Good to deal with all the “fake” news that is so prevalent today. Scheduled to roll out in November.

A life long Republican he will give us a great presentation. The title of his presentation The epidemic of Fake News And How to Fix It.

Background:

Nicholas G. Penniman, IV serves as President of Pulitzer Newspapers, Inc. Mr. Penniman served as Senior Vice President, Newspaper Operations of Pulitzer Publishing Company.

Prior to, he served as Vice President, Newspaper Operations and General Manager of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (“Post Dispatch”) from April 1984 to March 1986 and as Assistant General Manager of the Post-Dispatch from January 1978 to March 1984.

Mr. Penniman also served as Publisher of the Post-Dispatch. He was a trustee of the Pilot Funds. He served as a Director of Pulitzer Publishing Company since 1976.
