April Breakfast – Michael C Maibach – “The Founders’ Federalism: Our Nation of States”.

April 1, 2022 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am

Michael C. Maibach

We will explore why the Founders created what Madison called “a compound republic” (Federalist #51), and how their design has served us so well. One clear example of “a Nation of States” has been how each of our 50 state Governors and legislatures have navigated the Covid crisis – some very well, some the reverse. We are well-served when our 50 “laboratories of democracy” compete for investments, job creation, and new citizens based on state policies such as taxation, transportation, law enforcement, and education reform. Florida is a leader in this!
Michael Maibach is a seasoned professional in global business diplomacy, advisor to non-profit organizations, and a supporter of vital civic causes.
